Art and history
As heir to an old industrial tradition which began in the Middle Ages and reached its peak in the 19th century, and by having slowly but surely shaped the local landscapes and mentalities, the Pays Loire Val d’Aubois has gradually initiated a voluntary policy of enhancement of its old industrial heritage. This commitment, which falls within a perspective of cultural, social and economic development, also meets the moral objective of transmitting to future generations the testimony of history and life environment through collective responsibility.
For the purpose of making visitors and inhabitants aware of the quality of the heritage, communicate to the young a taste for discovery and knowledge of the history and environment of the Pays Loire Val d’Aubois, some publications are already available that “recount the Pays”: |
